University Professor Information

Sociology:

Janice Allen-Kelsey

Dr. Kelsey is AWESOME!! She's a great Professor that's passionate about the lesson she teaches and her students! It's important to attend her class and be prepared! I graduated in 2009 from BCU and majored in Sociology! Dr. Kelsey is one of the reasons that I am a Social Worker today! I really looked up to her!

Dr.kelsey is a great professor,She is clear on what she teach and clear on her instructions. She dont play the radio and she is always late, and she use the book, but if you dont have ot she prepare powerpoint and lecture.she is nice and helpful but dont get it twisted she.i love her

Linda Scola

I had her for multiple classes: Sociology, social psychology, sociology of deviant behavior, race and ethnicity all of the classes are engaging and she challenges you to see the world in different perspectives. AWESOME

This class was FUN...I can actually say I enjoyed coming to class Mon, Wed,and friday 12:50 to 1:50. All assignments are on blackboard. She brings back the way colleges are suppose to teach. Most professors at BCU teach like high school teachers but Mrs.Scola, she gives the assignments and it is your responsiblity to check to see when they are due

She is easy once you read your chapter and take notes you will for sure pass this class. Nice and is always willing to help. She made the class very interesting

Trebor Negron

he is a very very good proofessor. you can tell h really knows what he is talking about. doesnt really give home work. assigned a few 2-3 page papers. if you apply your self you will get a good grade. and if you get an A or B on the first 2 tests you dont have to take the final!

He is very intellectuall and knows excactly what he is talking about. His test are challenging but passable if you apply yourself. He is helpful if you want help. You will recieve what you earned and he help those that help themselves. He is a good professor

he is very easy, he gives no homework, only study for midterm and final exam.... but you have to be there majority of the time cause he will fail you if your not here all the time.

Computer Science:

Masood Poorandi

He is awesome take him whenever you get the chance. It's hard not to pass!!! He doesn't like textbooks, and is everyone of his classes are laid out the same way.

AMAZING professor! Math is not my favorite subject, but Dr. Poorandi was extremely helpful throughout lecture and during his office hours. He definitely cares very much for his students, and he has made a wonderful impact on my life to continue to pursue my education! Please take him if you have the chance, you WON'T regret it!

I love Dr. P like an uncle! He is hands down one of the most caring, most knowledgeable, and most respectable teachers at B-CU and that I've ever had. If you care about your grade and your success, he will go to great lengths to make sure you understand the material and pass his class, you just have to put in the work too.

Mubarak Banisakher

Absolutely love this man. He is the BEST professor I have ever had. He loves his students and will do anything for them. He is challenging and pushes students to a level that they did not know they could reach. He is somewhat difficult but you will appreciate his level of intelligence.

Mr. Banisakher is very helpful, I like the way he approach's the problem, I feel free to ask question in his class not like some other instructors..! He advises the class of how it is important to learn and understand not only to pass the class. Thank you Mr.B.

Mr. B's class is very easy. If you don't get an A then something is wrong. I really enjoyed his class. Even though I think it was because of the people in there.

David Bethelmy

The Best professor I've ever gotten the chance to learn from. I regret not having him for every subject I've ever had. You Will Learn from him... not memorize. You Will Be Able to do what he is teaching you.

I had Professor Bethlemy back in Lehman College. If you have him as a professor you will know the meaning of putting effort in what you do. He accepts nothing less than your best. And while he might seem implacable he makes himself available for help. I have sat with him on weekends for assistance. And now I program in a top firm.

Mr. B is an awesome teacher, u may not like him while u r in his class b/c he pushes you to do your best, leaving no room for laziness, but in the end he does it b/c he really cares about his students and what they will become after they graduate. Helping them to become marketable in this dog-eat-dog society.

Mathematics:

Anthony Martinez

The instructor was very helpful and straight to the point. The textbook wasn't required just notes from class; the tests are pretty easy and straight from the notes. I enjoyed the class and would recommend this teacher.

BEST TEACHER HANDS DOWN! Attendance isn't mandatory, but when you have great attendance he do look out when final grades are inputted. Coming to class every day and looking over the review before a test you're guaranteed to pass this class. Literally ALL the test questions and answers are in the review packets.

he is one of the best math techers ever!!! i can honestly say he was my favorite teacher this year! he lets you redo assignments and if you need help he is always there. he really does try and help his students, if you don't pass its your fault. attendance is mandatory!!

Kristopher Childs

He is the sweetest lil thing you ever wanted to meet.he is a great teacher..he make sure you knew what it was he was talking about..a Deaf/blind could understand, there's NO WAY you can fail..unless you dont go to class, and do NO WORK.which wouldnt matter because hell just drop you for not coming to class

Loved every minute being in his class... cute and funny to and very helpful

He is a really good teacher he will not stop until you understand!

Zafar Malik

He's a very knowledgeable individual. He is extremely helpful and without him I wouldn't have made my A in this class. Normally math isn't my forte, but I changed my major to Math after this class. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ALLL!!!!!!! He treats each student individually and as family. He uses the textbook but if you don't want to buy one its ok.

The Professor from Morocco! I hated math til I met him! No need for a book, he does everything on the math lab and as long as you attend class, he shows you step by step how it's done. Very helpful. I never thought algebra was comprehendable til I took his class. Knows what he's doing!

Great teacher! ALL the tests are based on the homework though. VERY HELPFUL!!
